is an inherent beauty in stone that forms naturally. Chemical and
physical processes, sometimes taking place over millions of years,
cause impurities in stone that can show up as intense colors and
shapes. The effect is further enhanced by the stones texture, which
can be variable but gives even the flattest piece a feel of
sculpture. Some of the collections in this gallery feature pieces
of stone with unique qualities that make them works of naturally created
art. Some of the collections feature natural stones enhanced with
color treatments, or honed artistically to create an effect. Other
